KEEPA is an app for shop keepers in Africa. The app is for free and there are no payments inside the app or outside on any plattform!
The app uses the camera to record sales in a fast and easy way and assures that the inventory is always up to date. The app needs access to the camera to record sales of products with QR or Barcodes.
The KEEPA Shopkeeping app can be used by any person or company. Most common will be the use of a retail shop in sub-Saharan Africa with 2 – 5 employees.
The app is for retail shops that sell groceries, beauty products, beverages or pharmaceuticals to record their sales. Though any other sales person can use the app if they like and want to digitalize their book keeping.
Any company can become a client. Though the setup process might be a bit more difficult as our cloud database is rather limited to groceries, beauty products, beverages and pharmaceuticals. The cloud database enables a fast and easy setup process. Though no company is excluded to use the app and can adapt it to their own needs.
People who do not sell anything will most likely find little to no use in the app.
After opening the app users can go to settings and click on the login button. Here users can sign up and create an account. An email address as well as a password are required.
Users do not pay for opening an account. The app and any services provided are for free. Users can delete the account permanently in the settings of the app. Additionally users can write an email to KEEPA asking what kind of information KEEPA has been recorded and demand that all information are permanently deleted at [email protected] .
